Bundle up for the annual Lombard Park District Winter Carnival

Lombard, IL – The Lombard Park District will host the annual Winter Carnival for families next month, complete with outdoor snow games, s’mores, train rides, and refreshments.

“The winter carnival is a fun event because it brings families together to enjoy a day of free, unique activities in a wholesome atmosphere,” said Jackie Brzezinski, program manager for the park district. “Families can expect roving entertainment, face painting, balloon sculpting, and sled races if the snow does not melt!”

Additional activities include a snowflake craft, penny carnival games and hayrides. A local resident will be on hand to create an ice sculpture, as well.

The event will be held Saturday, February 3, from noon-2:30 pm at the Lombard Community Building, 433 E. St. Charles Road.
