Bags Tournament at Lombard Park District

Bags, cornhole, baggo, corn bags, corn toss. Whatever you call it, it is fun! Try your hand at one of the hottest and most popular leisure games during a tournament with the Lombard Park District on July 21 from noon -
6 p.m. at the Lombard Community Building in Lombard. Lombard resident teams have a $30 entry fee and nonresident teams have a $35 entry fee. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top teams in the tournament.

"Bags" is similar to horseshoes except wooden platforms with a hole are used in place of the metal stake and bean bags represent the horseshoe. Teams of two take turns pitching bags at the platform. A bag that makes it into the hole scores 3 points and one on the platform scores 1 point. The opponent's points offset the total scored during an inning and the first team to reach 21 points wins!
