December 7
Daddy/Daughter Holiday Dance - Dress your best, grab your dad and head to this popular event from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Lombard Community Building! Dads and daughters will dance the night away, play games and enjoy a sundae bar! Don't be surprised if a jolly guest makes a special appearance! This year, you can order a corsage and have it waiting for you at the dance! Registration is required.

Amazing Ornaments - This popular workshop from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. at Sunset Knoll Recreation Center in Lombard for children ages 3 - 6 combines the holiday spirit with arts and crafts as kids use a variety of materials to make ornaments that will add to the holiday cheer of any household. Children must be able to use the toilet independently or wear pull-ups. Registration is required.

Holiday Cookie Decorating Party - This cookie decorating class will surely get children ages 3 - 6 into the spirit of the season from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Sunset Knoll Recreation Center in Lombard. Best of all, we get to treat ourselves to some punch and holiday cookies when we're done! Children must be able to use the toilet independently or wear pull-ups. Registration is required.

Rockin' with Rudolph - Children ages 3 - 6 can get ready to do the Reindeer Pokey, make reindeer snacks and even make a special treat for Santa's Reindeer from 4 - 5 p.m. at Sunset Knoll Recreation Center in Lombard. Children must be able to use the toilet independently or wear pull-ups. Registration is required.

Breakfast with Santa - Children of all ages can visit with Santa and enjoy a delicious continental breakfast just in time for the holidays from 9:30 - 11 a.m. at the Lombard Community Building in Lombard! Santa will be available for photo opportunities at the event. Registration is required.

Polar Express in the Park - Enjoy an enchanting evening in Lilacia Park and experience the magic of the popular children's book, The Polar Express at 6:30 p.m. Also, children will enjoy their very own jingle bell necklace. Registration is required.

December 19
Santa's Workshop - Children ages 3 - 6 can join the fun in this new workshop where kids will have the chance to make their very own gifts for Mom and Dad from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Sunset Knoll Recreation Center in Lombard! Children must be able to use the toilet independently or wear pull-ups. Registration is required.

Candy Cane Hunt - Kids ages 5 - 8 can hardly wait to explore Lilacia Park for an exciting Candy Cane Hunt at 5 p.m.! Find a special candy cane to redeem for a prize. Dress for the weather - this is an outdoor event. Registration is required.

December 27
Elf - Kids ages 6 and up, and an adult can come and see the humorous movie Elf with an on the big screen at 1 p.m. and enjoy popcorn and lemonade on this day off school. Bring a friend. Registration is required.
