Holiday Walk Volunteers Needed

Lombard, IL - The Lombard Park District is looking for volunteers to help decorate trees for the annual Holiday Walk through Lilacia Park. Holiday Walk is a free event that offers visitors a view of Lilacia Park lit up with animated displays, decorated trees, a giant gingerbread house and much more! Youngsters can also visit with Santa Claus, ride the delightful Puffer Belly Railroad, and enjoy a spectacular show and refreshments from 6 - 8 p.m. on December 8, 9, 12, 14, 15, 16, 19, 21, 22 and 23.

Volunteers are needed to create homemade nature-friendly ornaments and/or help decorate a tree in Lilacia Park the week of December 3 from 3 p.m. to dusk. Volunteers are also needed to help assist with the railroad during Holiday Walk and help to distribute refreshments to participants.
