MMAC FAQ

When does the MMAC open?

The MMAC is currently open to members only with adjusted facility hours to ensure all areas and programs are reintroduced as safely as possible to members and staff. Hours can be found in the right-hand column of this page.

Will you be taking reservations to help limit the number of people?

Reservations will not be required at this time. All MMAC users are required to checkin at the desk. We have spread out equipment and have created more stretching areas for our members. We will continue to track our usage closely upon reopening and if we see the need to implement a reservation system, we will do so at that time.

Is there anything I should do before returning to the MMAC?

We highly encourage members to do a self assessment before visiting to make sure you are symptom free. Follow the CDC guidelines about how to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please stay home in the event you are exhibiting symptoms or not feeling well.

Will I need to wear a face covering during my workout?

Members are required to wear face coverings when not exercising.

Was my membership billed during the closure?

No. All memberships on installment billing were last billed in February. We did not bill in the months of March, April, May or June. Billing is expected to resume on 07/15.

How is my membership going to be extended for the closure if I paid in full?

Your membership will be extended by four months from the expiration date. For example, if your membership normally expires on 07/01, we have extended your membership until 11/01. If your membership expired prior to reopening, the extension will be based on missed time.

If I am not ready to come back, am I able to put a hold on account?

Yes, this is no problem. Please reach out to our Facility Manager, Katy McKinnon at kmckinnon@lombardparks.com for assistance.

How have you spaced out equipment?

We have spaced out cardio equipment around our fitness floor and have moved the following items to our fitness studios and along the first floor hallway.

2 NuSteps, 2 Rowers, 1 Spin Bike, 2 Expresso Upright Bikes, 5 Recumbent Bikes and 3 Ellipticals

Will showers and locker rooms be open?

Showers and locker rooms will still be available. There will be signage to remind everyone to maintain social distancing. Disinfectant wipes in locker rooms. We do suggest you arrive in your workout attire, if possible.

Will water fountains be accessible?

Water filling stations will be available, however, all drinking spouts will be disabled. We ask that our members please bring their own water bottles to use until further notice.

What is the status on your Pickleball schedule?

We are currently working on a Pickleball schedule. Right now, it is to be determined. We will have to share the gym space with our fitness programming due to the need to spread out equipment around the facility. We hope to have this schedule out for our members soon.

Is the MMAC offering Open Gym?

As of right now, we are not offering Open Gym until further notice, however shoot around is available. No pick-up games allowed.

Is the MMAC taking court rentals?

We are not taking rentals until further notice.
