Guidelines for Code of Conduct
The Lombard Park District Board of Park Commissioners approved the Board Policy Manual Section 5.11, guidelines for Code of Conduct, to provide a safe and fun environment for our Residents and participants. Additional rules may be developed for specific programs and athletic leagues as deemed necessary by staff.
A positive approach will be used regarding discipline. Staff will periodically review rules with participants during the program season. If inappropriate behavior occurs, prompt resolution will be sought specific to each individual’s situation. The Park District reserves the right to dismiss a participant whose behavior endangers his or her own safety or the safety of others or is otherwise in violation of any Park District ordinance or Policy or any other local, state or federal law.
