Choose from a variety of classes that work on aspects of dramatic and comedic performances including acting, improv, character awareness, imagination, and more! Students will have a chance to shine and show off their new skills through a short performance for families on the final day of class. Summer Theatre Production: The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical
Lombard Park District is proud to announce its premiere recreational youth theatre program. Actors ages 9-16 will work together to create quality, age-appropriate productions suitable for family viewing.

About the Play: The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is an electrifying, action-packed rock musical following Percy, a teenager who discovers he’s a demigod son of a Greek god. Framed for stealing Zeus’s master lightning bolt, he must embark on a dangerous quest across America to find the true thief and prevent a war among the gods. Based on the best-selling Disney-Hyperion novel by Rick Riordan.
