The end of the gardening season is approaching quickly! Lombard Park District is asking for gardener cooperation to ensure all personal items and special plantings have been removed from plots by Sunday, October 25.
Please note: the District will not be responsible for any plants or items left in plots after this date. On or after Monday, November 2, plots will be roto-tilled for the winter season by park staff.
Lombard Park District thanks gardeners for their patience and participation in this year’s program. Information for the 2021 Garden Plot Season will be sent out to previous years’ participants on or shortly after January 1, 2021.
Garden Plots are approximately 20’x40’. Registration for returning gardeners begins 02/01. Open registration for the 2021 season begins 03/01. Plots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The gardening season will begin in April 2021, weather-permitting. Renters are responsible for the upkeep of the plot and removal of all materials at the end of the season.
