Garden Plots

UPDATE 03/24/2026: Garden Plots are sold out for the 2026 Gardening Season. Located in Madison Meadows, the Lombard Park District offers community members the chance to rent one of over seventy large garden plots for the growing season. Gardeners enjoy planting and caring for a variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers while personalizing their plots to their tastes. Water spigots and a compost area are available on-site. Plots are tilled prior to the growing season.

Garden plots are approximately 20’x40’. Plots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available every spring. The gardening season begins in April, weather permitting. Please note: garden plot renters are responsible for the upkeep of the plot and removal of all materials at the end of the season.

Community members are welcome to visit the plots, but because they are rented out to individuals, only renters may harvest their own crops or pick flowers. Please abide by the rule signage at the garden plots.
