Want to improve your tennis skills? Beginner/Intermediate lessons will cater to beginning players who have never played before or intermediate players who have limited experience and formal instruction. Players will brush up on basics with a focus on strokes, overheard serve and progressing to volley placement and consistency.
Summer Adult Softball League
(Ages 18 +)
Gather a team of friends, co-workers, or family to join Lombard Park District’s Summer Adult Softball Leagues. League play begins the week of 05/02. Teams registering as residents will need to provide proof of residency (copy of driver’s license) for all players. Please note: five or more non-residents constitutes a non-resident team. Games canceled due to unplayable field conditions will be scheduled on Saturdays or alternate days when needed or available.
Summer Over 30 Baseball League
League play for Lombard Park District’s Summer Over 30 Baseball League begins the week of 06/02. A team application form is available below. To register, please fill out the form and return to the Sunset Knoll Recreation Center drop box located at 820 S. Finley Rd. or email to Brad Herrmann at email@example.com.
This class is great for beginners or those looking to improve. Each week, players will focus on a new topic such as gameplay rules, serving, dinks, returns and game strategy.
