Saturday, December 4 | Tree Lighting at 5:30 pm | Lilacia Park & Downtown Lombard
Jingles, the reindeer invites you to join the Lombard Park District, Village of Lombard, Lombard Historical Society, Calvary Episcopal Church, and many more local businesses to enjoy the sights of the season.
Event Schedule:
Lombard Park District & Village of Lombard: Tree lighting ceremony at 5:30pm followed by cookies and hot chocolate, roaming characters in the park and visits from Santa.
Lombard Historical Society: Tours of the Victorian Cottage will begin at 5:45pm. Tours are free, however tickets are required and can be picked up in the Carriage House. Tours are every 15 minutes until 8:45pm. Tours are limited to 12 per group. Enjoy the Canterbury Carollers from 6-7pm to put you in the holiday spirit as you take a tour through time back to 1882. From 7-8pm, listen to local orchestra members play holiday songs.
Calvary Church: Annual Cookie Walk “Lite”. Join us for a bake sale from 4:30-6:30pm.

Jingles the reindeer is looking for some of the most festive and creative houses in Lombard! Families can register their houses in this decorating contest to help bring some holiday spirit to Lombard. Participating houses will be added to our Holiday Lights Map so that families can drive around town and take in the sights of the holidays. Houses entered in the contest will be voted on by the community and winning houses will receive a prize! Along the route, see if you can spot Jingles himself as local businesses and organizations have decorated him for the holidays. Please note: Registration for the contest will be online-only. Participating houses must have their lights turned on each night beginning at 4:30 pm for the duration of the contest.

December 15 – December 22 | Delivered to Your Home
There are some elves on the loose in Lombard! Sign your household up to be “elfed” this holiday season! Each registered household will be surprised with a sweet and festive candy cane hunt placed in their front yard between 12/15 – 12/22. Families will receive a phone call to let them know when the house is being “elfed” so they can be on the lookout. A yard sign will be placed in each family’s yard notifying them who they have been “elfed” by. Please note: this event is limited to Lombard Park District and Village of Lombard residents only.

Enjoy Lombard Park District’s annual holiday lights display in Lilacia Park! Charming holiday displays illuminate the park from 4:30 – 10:00 pm each night with magical light shows, tree decorations, a gingerbread house and so much more!

Free visits with Santa and a magical Elf hunt!
Saturday, December 18 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm:
Free visits with Santa with caroling and s’mores around the fire.
Sunday, December 19 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm:
Polar Express Night in Lilacia Park. Every participant will receive their very own bell when they visit with Santa.
