Coach of the Year Nomination

Lombard Park District’s youth athletic leagues rely heavily on volunteers to provide quality coaching to program participants. Volunteer coaches play a vital role in providing a fun environment for the participants, focusing on skill development. Each year, staff will select up to four coaches of the year from various youth sports leagues. Please nominate a coach you feel has set an outstanding example for the community with their sportsmanship, organization, knowledge of the game, interpersonal skills, and coaching abilities.

To nominate a coach, fill out the below form.

Inclusion provides opportunities for individuals with and without special needs to experience recreation together at the Lombard Park District. Inclusion looks at the needs, interests, and abilities of the individuals instead of focusing on their special needs. Inclusion supports the process of preparing, learning, experiencing, and growing for each individual, family, and staff member. Lombard Park District strongly supports inclusion. In partnership with our Special Recreation Association, NEDSRA accommodations are provided to ensure successful participation in all programs. Complete the below Inclusion Services Form and a staff member of the park district or NEDSRA will contact you prior to the start of the program.
